Today I will do a last posting in this blog. I will talk about brass family. brass family is very old. Since 18th century, brass instruments are used in orchestra to make big sound. there sound is soft and beautiful. In brass instrument there is a trumpet, horn, trumbone, tuba. Now I will talk about them.
First I will talk about Trumpet.
It is oldest brass instrument. Its sound is fascinated and bright. To play the Trumpet we blow the trumpet through mouthpiece. It uses in Many genre. string orchestra, wind instrument orchestra... so on.
Next, Trumbone. Trumbone's sound is soft and imposing. In orchestra there is a three trumbone. Two tenor trumbone and one base trumbone. trumbone is upgraded version of trumpet. Trumbone is the most perfective instrument in the brass family. And it is very well blend together with human's voice
Next instrument is Horn. Horn is used in orchestra first in the brass family. Its sound is more temperate and soft than the other brass family. So it cover other instrument's sound. It also needs mouthpiece to play.
The last instrument i will tell you is the Tuba. Its sound is very low. But its sound is very sensitve. It is used in orchestra recently. It also needs mouthpiece to play.

Today I will talk about Percussion family.
Percussion families are older than other instrument. There role in the orchestra is adding rhythm. In orchestra they are located in the back of all instrument. But in music there sound is strong and beautiful. Percussion instrument consist of no consonant interval instrument and consonant interval instrument. Now I will introduce some percussion instrument that using in orchestra.
First I will talk about marimba.
Marimba is a instrument that seems like a piano. It is made of wood or steal. wood marimba is sensitive for weather but steal marimba is easy to care.
To play the marimba we need small stick that is called mallet.
It is used in many orchestra performance
Timpani is the next instrument that i will tell you. Timpani is the most important instrument in the orchestra. it can tuning exact sound so it can participate in harmony. It is made of plastic or animal's skin. To play the timpani we use timpani mallet.
Next I will talk about tubular bell. tubular bell's another name is chime. It is a bell that used in orchestra. If orchestra use a real bell it needs big bell to sound high sound so we use tubular bell.
Until now i tell you a consonant interval percussion family.
Now i will tell you a no consonant interval percussion family.
Cymbals
cymbals is a oldest percussion instrument. Its weight and size is various. Its role in the orchestra is support a high sound. It can sound with stick and we can sound with hand.
Tambourine
It is well used in the festival because of small size and easy to add rhythm. In 19th century it is used in the orchestra. It made of animal skin.

Today i will talk about woodwind instrument.
In wind Instrument there are woodwind instrument and brass wind instrument. but today i will talk about woodwind instrument. woodwind instrument is consist of flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon.
In former times all woodwind instrument is made of wood. But nowadays they can made by a lot of things except bassoon.
first I want to talk about flute.
flute has very simple structure . its tone is smooth, light, clean and sensible. flute is used in orchestra since 1700 year.
Second, let's talk about oboe. it has two lids.
oboe has high tone and english horn has low tone.
its tone is clear, thin, sharp. Oboe is used in orchestra since 1650 year
Clarinet has one large broad lid. it can make free expression. Its tone is bright, smooth, warm, languorous and abundance. Clarinet is used in orchestra since 1770 year.
Last , Bassoon. It has biggest sound in the two lids woodwind Instrument. double bassoon is lower than bassoon. Its tone is low, sorrowful, rough and simple. Basson used in orchestra since 1700 year
today i talk about woodwind instrument. They are so important in the orchestra. And there sound is great. The video below show how woodwind instrument's sound is beautiful.

And now i'd like to posting about western instrument. Usual day i see them in television program and music theater. so i want to know more about them. And i choose them.
the type of western musical instruments are brass, wood wind, strings, percussion.
Today i want to posting about strings.
the type of strings are violin, viola, cello, double bass.
first violin. violin is best well known instrument in the western instrument. the highest instrument in string family. and also violin is the smallest in the string family
second viola. viola is bigger than violin. and its sound is deep.
third cello. cello is bigger than viola. its sound is grand. it's like a tenor or bass.
fourth double bass. double bass is bigger than cello. its sound is very deep.
these four instruments are string instruments. and they are so important in orchestra. and there are string quartet also. the string quartet is consist of two violin , viola , cello. these are so fascinating
